Diane Hughes is the founder and President of HNB Resources.

She is 24 yrs. old. At the age of 20 and newly married, she began a search for home jobs.

After a long search and many headaches, she decided that working for herself was the best way to go.

Diane did a tremendous amount of research, eventually developing her own website.

With little money, no HTML experience, but a lot of desire, she got her site up and running. Her first site was at Freeyellow.com.....and that was where she also got her first HTML lesson.

At the time she was earning only $50 - $100 a week. Looking back on that time, Diane says: "WOW! That was so exciting for me! $100 a week in my spare time on my computer. I got the
laughs of course, from my husband and family, but after almost 4 years on the net, learning new things everyday -- I currently bring in 5 figures every month.  Now I'M the one laughing!"

"In no way should you expect riches....keep your goals high, but make sure they are realistic and achievable.  Don't get suckered into the get-rich-quick hype -- I've tried them all and you will only be digging into YOUR pocket to feed a business that will not work.  YOU have to work!"

"There is no easy money.....yes, things are automated and much easier now that I am established, but I stayed up MANY nights and worked LONG hours for over 3 years until I was able to settle down a little and enjoy my success --- all this while STILL working a full time job!"

I kept my full-time job, even when I was making 3 or 4 times my salary I was just too scared to quit my STABLE job and lose my STABLE income. Finally after realizing my business was growing beyond what I could handle while still juggling my job, I put in my resignation.  I do not regret it one bit because there have been NO lapses in my income -- it's only been growing....but like I said before, it's still HARD WORK!

Diane's last comment is full of encouragement:

"Find something you believe in, if not your own business.  Work, work, work and learn, learn, learn.  It will ALL fall into place, I promise you.  You just need to believe in what you are doing and put your skills into action!"

"Success is measured not by what you do for yourself,
but what you do for another person's self-interest"
