In February of 1999, I brought my Collectible Toys Business onto the Internet.

As an Instructor for a major Financial Services Company, I enjoyed my teaching career, but I longed for freedom.

I've collected die-cast toy cars (early Hot Wheels) for over 10 years. I was actually introduced to eBay through my toy car hobby.

At the time, I was buying and selling my little toy cars at an Antique Shop locally. (on consignment) 

I was actually doing pretty good there, my sales were averaging about $1,200 a month. Some months were better, others weren't.

But I kept hearing about this eBay "thing"!

I soon learned that eBay was the place to sell if you wanted to get top dollar for your items - any items - and I got curious about it.

So I bought a computer and got registered to sell...

My first week I sold $1,200 worth of little toy cars!!

I was blown away! - and a new business was born!

Where it would normally take me about two to three months to "turn over" (sell off) my inventory at the Antique Shop, selling on eBay allowed me to "turn over" my inventory in 7 days!

Instantly, I was sold on the concept of selling on Online Auctions!

My business went from $1,200 per month to $4,800 per month instantly, because of eBay...

And, I was able to make that money working from home, part-time, while still keeping my teaching job! 

But then, I made a discovery that just exploded my business!

 

This one simple, but profound discovery increased my sales to a whole new level, the $10,000 to $12,000 per week range!
